Precision Air Conditioning
The Data Centre air conditioners shall be designed specifically for Data Centre to automatically monitor and control heating, cooling humidifying, dehumidifying and filtering functions for the facility.
Infrastructure Monitoring System
As the Data Centre computer room operates 24-hour a day and is left unmanned after office hours and during public holidays, an Infrastructure Monitoring System (IMS) will be installed to monitor and control the environment. In the event that any environmental parameter reaches or exceed its predetermined threshold, the IMS system will provide all necessary early warning to the users.
Fire Protection System - FM200
As a safety precaution and to protect the equipment inside the Data Centre, a FM200 fire fighting clean gas agent will be installed to put off fire when smoke is detected.
Uninterruptible Power Supply
Critical equipment is not limited to just servers but should include power supplies and cabling. The best protection for the equipment lies in the installation of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system of appropriate size, which supplies electrical current even in case of surges or power outages.
Water Detection System
Water Detection System is a safety water line sensor installed under the floor to provide early warning and to prevent damages to the contents of Data Centre. Leaks in Data Centre may go unnoticed without these detectors and eventually destroy valuable equipment if not stopped in time.
Raised Flooring System
Raised Flooring System enables a constant flow of conditioned air and helps to maintain uniform room temperature. In addition, raised flooring reduces static and ensures a professional, computer grade environment for servers and other peripherals.
Security Access System
For highly sensitive or restricted areas, Data Centre normally deploy authentication mechanisms such as smart cards or biometrics for enhanced security. Closed Circuit Television may also be installed to maintain movement records.
Preventive Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance checks are carried out on a routine basis to ensure equipment and facilities are operating at their maximum capacity, and any problems can be rectified before it gets worse. This routine also reduces undesirable fault occurrences.
